Ring size is a measure used to denote the circumference (or sometimes the diameter) of jewellery rings and rings that are smart.

Measurements of ring sizes can be done with the use of a metal, paper or plastic ring sizer (as an indicator) or by measuring the inner diameter.
Ring sticks are devices to measure the inner dimensions of rings. They can be constructed out of wood, plastic, aluminum, or any of the other materials. For exact measurements, digital ringsticks can be employed.
Measuring systems
International standard
ISO 8653 - 2016 defines standard sizes for rings. It measures the circumference of the ring in millimetres. The ISO sizes can be used in Austria (France, Germany, Belgium and Scandinavia (Norway. Sweden. Denmark. Finland. Iceland.)
